Visalia BMX directions:

October 19,2007 - Here's the suggested route for anyone who might be coming from out of town: Take Highway 99 to Highway 198.  Head east on 198.  Take the Demaree exit.  Turn left and head north on Demaree to Riggin Road.  Turn right on Riggin Road and head east to Dinuba Blvd/Highway 63.  Turn left on Dinuba Blvd/Highway 63/Old Dinuba Highway and head north.  The Sports Park will be on the left.  Enter off of Dinuba Blvd and head back to the northwest corner of the park.

You can also take Highway 63 (Central Visalia exit then turn left on Court St.) off of Highway 198.  Once on Court St continue north till you reach the Oval (A circle drive ) and follow the signs for Highway 63 then continue north on 63 till you pass Riggin Road and you'll see the park on the left.

October 17, 2007 - Visalia BMX located at the Giant Chevrolet BMX Park in the Visalia Riverway Sports Park will be having it's first race on Saturday, October 20, 2007.  Signups will be 2pm- -3pm with racing starting asap.  Visalia Riverway Sports Park is located in North Visalia on Highway 63 (Old Dinuba Highway) north of Riggin Road and along River Way Drive.  Join us for some exciting racing at the new Visalia BMX.  And yes you heard right!!  Giant Chevrolet of Visalia has generously stepped up as a track sponsor.  Thanks to Giant Chevrolet!!!!

In addition, volunteers will be needed to help move the old bleachers from The Visalia Oaks Ball Park to the Giant Chevrolet BMX Park on Sunday morning, October 21, 2007.  Please contact Ron or Sherri at 559-627-1795 for further info.

**August 12, 2007 - The track at Visalia BMX is built!!  Now comes the hard work to make races a reality at the track.  The track needs to be groomed in order to make the track safe and smooth for racing.  Concrete needs to be poured at the top of the starting hill for the starting gate.  These are the bare minimums to make racing happen.  Additional projects such as electrical work, signup/snack bar building construction, installing water lines, landscaping, and basic property cleanup will be improvements that make Visalia BMX a more enjoyable experience.  In addition to some of the items needed listed below, being able to concrete the starting hill and asphalt the turns would take Visalia BMX to a new level.  If you can help in any of the above mentioned areas, please contact Ron via the Track Hotline (627-1795) or through this website.  Thank you.
